Episode 162: [Activating Abundance #30] With Travel

Listen in to this week's episode as I share how I've activated so much abundance in my life with travel. I just love how travel experiences make me feel! And having those memories forever adds even more abundance into my life.

If you've been sequestered, like me, in your home from the Covid pandemic for what feels like an eternity, maybe this episode will get you thinking about booking that bucket list trip you've always dreamed of.

I recorded this episode, a couple of days before embarking on my own bucket list trip to Greece. As I was preparing for this trip, I thought it would be fun to take a walk down memory lane and share a few experiences from some of my favorite trips, along with the 4 biggest reasons I love to travel:

1. going to places I've never been and experiencing them for the first time.

2. seeing how other people live, immersing myself in their cultures, and learning about the foods they eat.

3. connecting with family and friends through shared travel experiences.

Episode 158: [Activating Abundance #28] By De-stressing

Today's episode was inspired by the October 9th excerpt from the "Simple Abundance" book called "Coping with Stress" because it caused me to be aware that I've been feeling a bit stressed lately. And going back through the list today really helped me.

The 47 de-stressing suggestions I share are listed below, with the ones that personally resonated to me marked with an asterisk. I suggest you pull out the ones that resonate with you to help you de-stress in times of need.

  1. Cultivate gratitude.

Episode 157: The Midlife Realization That Being A Mom Is Not Your Only Purpose with Elena Hartz

Today my guest is Elena Hartz who describes herself as a 48 year old mother who is twice divorced, Russian-born (raised in Ukraine) and who immigrated to the US in 1993.

I was compelled to interview when I heard her story on her daughter's podcast. To hear the incredible story of her young life in Russia, her early marriage to a man who turned out to be a liar and an abuser, and her family's escape from Communist Russia, check out Episode 217 of the Manifestation Babe podcast. It's a long one but so worth it! (In this episode, we don't go into those details.)

We talked about so many things including:

  • her perspective on the American dream and comparison to her way of life as a person who grew up in a communist society
  • her difficult adjustment to her daughter's version of the American dream which is not the traditional one she had dreamt for her
  • her big aha moment about manifestation and how it can backfire on us.
  • her amazing take on "mistakes."
  • her Rythmia experience...

Episode 156: [Activating Abundance #27] With Human Connection

Today I share the importance of human connection and a couple of examples of how it has brought abundance into my life this year.

This topic was inspired by a Disney movie I watched with my 3 year old grandson, who resisted watching it but then sat through it mesmerized the whole time! If you haven't seen "Soul," I highly recommend it.

I think the message of the movie is even more impactful after having gone through the pandemic as human connection was pulled from us suddenly and for a long period of time.

What humans have you lost touch with who you would like to reconnect with?

My hope is that this episode will inspire you to take action and CONNECT! If you receive this episode as a nudge from the universe and take inspired action to make a human connection, please reach out and let me know how it felt because I know it will bring more abundance into your life!
