Welcome to Not Your Average Lives hosted by Laurie Wright, also known as Not Your Average Grandma!
I have had three major midlife transformations of my own: One in my love life, one in my career, and one in my health. I am passionate about not only sharing my story but also interviewing many other women who have had the courage to have midlife transformations of their own!
If you're stuck in a rut of feeling like your best years are behind you, I invite you to take a listen to a couple of my episodes to hear the inspiring stories of midlife transformations and see how the rest of your life could be the very best of your life.

Although Julia isn’t my typical guest who is sharing a story of midlife transformation, I really wanted to bring her story to my listeners because this is a subject that is near & dear to my heart.
For those of you who have a child struggling in school or life, please take the time to listen to her interesting story. I believe it's our responsibility to our children (and our grandchildren!), to make sure they are lit up about life. How are you positively influencing the education of the children in your lives, even if they are adults?

Today's episode is a conversation with Ricki Heller, Ph.D and RHN (which is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist) whose life was turned upside down 20 years ago by candida (yeast) overgrowth. Her story is a great example of how a bump in the road of life led to her passion & purpose as she decided to take control of her health.
To connect with Ricki and learn more about Candida and the resources she has, check out her website that has great information: https://www.rickiheller.com/
